HS Masonry Days

Mark your calendar and plan to attend!

Date: Wednesday, December 10
Time: Registration opens at 8:30am – stations start at 9:00am
Lunch is provided to students after the stations (Stations are from 9:00am – 11:30am).
Location: BAC 3 IA Training Center, 601 S 12th Ave, Marshalltown, IA 50158

About: Join us for a hands-on day of learning about masonry! Students will be divided into small groups and rotate around stations (15 minutes at each station). Stations include bricklaying, blocklaying, tuckpointing, estimating, and more! Lunch will be provided.  Each student will need to bring a signed permission slip form - click here to download. 

Additional information will be sent out to closer to the date. Registration is limited to 25 students per school - if you have more students than this please contact Jenny.

For those registered:

PLEASE BRING SAFETY GLASSES IF YOU HAVE THEM. We will provide them if the students do not have them. Dress appropriately – the students WILL get dirty so leave the fancy stuff at home. Closed toe shoes are required (such as tennis shoes) – anyone arriving in sandals will have to sit out. If any of your students have food allergies or limitations, please let me know by Monday, December 8.
